Patching & Playing Trickster Online Guide
Now you have Trickster Online installed on your computer and want to start playing the game! But first, you will have to patch the game to the latest version before you may start playing. Patching is done automatically through the Trickster Online updater. Everytime you start the game, the updater will check if you are running the latest version and patch to a newer version if needed. To start patching the game, browse to the folder where you installed Trickster Online. Unless you changed the path of installation, it should be in: C:\Program Files\Ntreev\TricksterEng . Once you are there, you should see a file structure similar to the one below:
Now find the Splash file inside the folder and double click it. The Splash file looks like the icon and button below:
After clicking on the splash icon, a window much like the one below will open up. The updater will now start patching your game installation. This will take a while depending on how fast the update files are downloaded, please be patient and if you get stuck on a particular file for a long time, click the Exit button and reopen the splash file to start the update again.
Now that you have completed patching the game, you are ready to start playing! Click on the Start Game button to initiate the game. Learn how to create new characters in the next guide!
